achieve(A) Allocated the task for preparation of master plan of gda to centre of environmental planning and technology (cept) at Rs. 40 lacks.

(B) Systematic preparation of detailed road plans for the area shinai, mathak, kidana, versamedi and galpadar by the cept.

(C) Planning to prepare detailed road net work plan for the remaining areas of the gda from the cept.

(D) To upgrade the directions issued under section 6 of the gandhidham (development & control on erection of building) act 1957 through cept.

(E) Declaration of zones out side master plan, falling within jurisdiction of gandhidham development authority

(a)The area of village shinai is earmarked for residential purpose and some portion near by shinai dam is earmarked as green belt or the same can be allowed for agricultural purpose also.
(b)the area of village antarjal is earmarked for residential purpose.
(c)The area of village mathak is earmarked for residential purpose.
(d)The area of village meghpar kumbharadi is earmarked for residential purpose and light industrial purpose also.
(e)The area of village sangad is earmarked for residential purpose.
(f)The partly area of village kidana is earmarked for residential purpose and partly for heavy industrial purpose.
(g)The partly area of village meghpar borichi is earmarked for residential purpose and partly for light industrial purpose.
(h)The partly area of village galpadar is earmarked for residential purpose and partly for light industrial purpose.
(i)The partly area of village mithi rohar is earmarked for residential purpose and partly for light industrial purpose.
(j)The partly area of village versamedi is earmarked for residential purpose and partly for industrial purpose.
(k)The area of village bharapar is earmarked for heavy/hazardous or noxious industry.
(l)The area of village tuna and rampar is earmarked for heavy/hazardous or noxious industry.
(m)The area of village chandrapar & anjar falling with gda’s jurisdiction is earmarked as green belt as buffer zone.

(F) To set up the industrial unit outside the master plan area of gandhidham, gda declared some industrial zone up to some extent along the high ways.

In the post-earthquake scenario, the government has encouraged the industrialists to set up their industries in kutch district. Many type of industries are likely to come here and they require permission for installation of industrial unit as fast as possible, from the gda. As an exceptional case within their purview the gda helped many industries after giving them special consideration as far as their applications were concerned in line with the “vibrant gujarat” policy. This step of the authority has helped the investment of crores of rs. In kandla complex, contributing to the over all economic prosperity of this region. This has its repercussions to the effect that the employment rate has also increased many folds by creation of many new jobs.

(G) After the disastrous earthquake in 2001, the authority has played a key role towards the new development coming up with a tremendous rate. The developmental control in respect to the quality of development was a major issue that the authority has handled exceptionally well.

(H) Upgraded the web site of the gda to facilitate the public.

(I) Total 40970 permission granted up to 30-06-2013.

(J) Rs. 34,08,013-00 spent to purchase 75 containers, 70 wheelbarrow and 1058 buckets for wheelbarrow through gudc and leased out to gandhidham municipality.

(K) Approved rs. 27 lacks for purchase of chassis mounted combined suction cum jetting machine to be leased out to gandhidham municipality.

(L) Approved an amount of rs. 90.25 lacks for widening & asphalting of raod from omm cinema char rasta to sunderpuri water tank char rasta at gandhidham after taking government approval.

(M) Approved and amount of rs. 65 lacs for providing and fixing power saver led lights and leased out to gandhidham municipality after taking government approval.

(N) Approved an amount of rs. 50 lacs for providing drainage line in meghpar borichi near lilashah kutiya after taking government approval.

(O) Pension is being given to retired employees without taking grant from government of gujarat under self finance scheme.

(P) Made applicable citizen chart.

(Q) Take efforts to allot the 25 acres of land to the government of gujarat through src ltd to establish sport complex in ward 8 a gandhidham and approved the lay out plan for the same.

(R) Take efforts to allot the land to the government of gujarat through src ltd. To establish emergency response center in ward 6 c gandhidham and approved the layout plan for the same.

(S) After earthquake, to rehabilitee the earth quack sufferers, approved the layout plan of 55 acres in dc 5 adipur which includes the government offices of 10 acres of land.

(T) Now the office of the gda is fully computerized one. Hence file processing work is very fast. Efforts are being taking to issue permission on online.

(U) Now office of the gda is covered with cc tv cameras.

(V) With the co-operation of the engineers and developers association, the work of gda is going fast and smooth.

(W) Approved layout plan to construct rcc slab stalls from ac sheet roof in main market gandhidham constructed before gda came in to existance.

(X) Approved the layout plan for police quarters in ward 5 b adipur.

(Y) Approved the building plans of offices of income tax, gujarat water supply board, mercantile marine, spices board etc.

(Z) Approved the layout plan to construct shops in place of wooden cabin and to construct 2 lane road by providing lighting arrangement in midst of road leading madansinh chowk to junction of adisar pond and madansinh chowk to seva kunj adipur.

(AA) The government of gujarat has directed that no permission be granted by any authority in kachchh region for construction of more than ground plus two stories on any plot of land in view that kachchh in placed in seismic zone no.5 which is very dangerous from earthquake point of view vide its letter no. Uda/102001/ 4921/ v dtd. 17-07-2001. The gda has implemented the above government orders and restricted ground + 2 stories building in gandhidham area.
